Global Council for Innovation in Rapeseed and Canola

In April 2025, the GCIRC, in collaboration with NIAB, will be holding an international technical meeting based at Jesus College (Cambridge University).

The overarching theme of this technical meeting is Climate Change, with sessions bringing together experts in genetics, agronomy, crop protection, economics and end markets, with sessions being aimed at adapting agronomy, managing pests and diseases and reducing greenhouse gas emissions in oilseed crops.

It is not often that such groups of researchers assemble in one place and therefore an ideal opportunity to engage with them.

We are looking for sponsors for the event to help with the costs so that more researchers will be able to attend.
