Professional experience : Currently working as an oilseed rape assistant breeder in a breeding company (KWS), I work on phenotyping, phenotyping data analysis, experimental design, trait development, and many more! My main profesional interests are genetic gain, hybrid breeding, and genomic selection. Previously I have worked with several hybrid crops like sorghum, cannabis, and miscanthus whilst now I am mainly focused in oilseed rape and brassica species and their relatives. I have worked in academia as a research assitant on RNA-sequencing, genetics, crop adaptation, organic agriculture, and seedling production.
Education : I have a masters degree in Plant Breeding (Erasmus Mundus Master Program in Plant Breeding) and a bachelor degree in Agronomy (National Taiwan University).
